Time

TIME: we have all been given the same amount. 24 hours, 1440 minutes, 86,400 seconds.  Each of us choose how we are going to spend the time allotted us each day!!! Time definition: (look this up for much more than what I have here) 1a) a non spatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.  b)an interval separating two points on this continuum a duration:  c)a number, as of years, days or minutes, representing such an interval. 2a) an interval, especially a span of years, marked by similar events, conditions, or phenomena; an era.  Often used in the plural; hard times or a time of trouble.  b) times-The present with respect to prevailing conditions and trends: (you must change with the times) 3) a suitable or opportune moment or season: (a time for taking stock of ones life.) "Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy." (1 Corinthians 4:2 ESV) "For he says, “In the TIME of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the TIME of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2 NIV) "Stop making excuses and start making arrangements!!!!!"  unknown Quotes "God gave us 1440 minutes in a day. Have you used one to say thank you?" unknown "Love is always full-time, never part-time, never sometimes, and certainly not just on your time."  unknown "Spend time with a person you love the most, the one you care for.  Make them feel special, for you never know when TIME will take them away from you."  unknown "TIME changes people no matter how much we don't want it to.  But no one can STOP TIME, it just keeps moving forward, and so should you!"  Kayla Hawk "Sometimes I wish I could just fast forward the time, just to see if in the end it's all worth it."  unknown "Learn from Your mistakes, enjoy your achievements, be the real you, move forward and not backwards, smile just because you want too, and most of all enjoy life. Because it is yours; your choices, your decisions made, your actions, your responsibilities, is what will determine the direction of your life in the end.  No one else's choices determines the outcome of your life, but yours."  unknown Favorite movies/shows about TIME: Groundhog Day; Time Cop; Time Bandits; Time Machine; Terminator; Dr. Who; Back To The Future; Planet Of The Apes: Favorite songs about TIME: Time After Time-Cyndi Lauper; Good Times Bad Times-Led Zeppelin/John & Deborah Cox; Time Has Come Today- Chamber Brothers; Time And Time Again-Counting Crows; The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face-Roberta Flack; As Time Goes By-Herman Hupfeld; The Times They Are A-Changing-Bob Dylan; The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year-A Christmas Standard; (I've Had) The Time Of My Life-Bill Medley/Jennifer Warnes; Time In A Bottle-Jim Croce; Time-Pink Floyd; Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?-Chicago: Favorite TIME phrases: In the nick of time; Change with the time; Pass the time; Time flies when having fun; Stitch in time; Time and time again; Now is the time; Some other time; When time stands still; Pick up the time; Save time; Loose time; Out of time: Scriptures about TIME: "For such a time as this"(Esther 4:14) "For it is time to seek The Lord"(Hosea 10:12) "At the appointed time"(Romans 9:9) "For all time one sacrifice for sins"(Hebrews 10:12) "A stronghold in time of trouble"(Psalm 9:9) "My times are in Your hands"(Psalm 31:15) "A friend loves at all times"(Proverbs 17:17) "How many times shall I forgive"(Matthew 18:21-22) "It is not for you to know the times"(Acts 1:7) "At the right time Christ died for the ungodly"(Romans 5:6) "Making the best use of time because the days are evil"(Ephesians 5:16) T.I.M.E.-P.O.R.T.A.L. Here is the web address of a very intriguing and quite interesting site to peruse, at your leisure...Scify come to reality? http://theintelhub.com/2012/0706/nasa-concedes-space-time-portals-exist/    NASA Funded Researcher@the U.of Iowa-Jack Scudder   TIME-PORTAL TRY-Ask The Lord to try and test you! "Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind;"(Psalm 26:2 NIV) "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!" (Psalms 139:23 ESV) Tithing-The Lord challenges us to try and test Him, as well! "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!"(Malachi 3:10 NLT) IMITATING-Invest our time in imitating God and increasing our love for others. "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." (Ephesians 5:1, 2 ESV) MODEL-We must be a strong example for others to follow and model their lives after. "Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us."(Titus 2:7, 8 ESV) EFFORT-We must not hold anything back in reserve, but give our all! "For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. (2 Peter 1:5-7 ESV) POSSIBILITIES-Make room for Him and don't limit Him!  Jesus  looked at them and said,  "With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God." (Mark 10:27 ESV) OBTAINED-He did what no one else was able or could do, only He was qualified and able to be The One to obtain our salvation. "he  entered  once for all into the holy places, not by means of  the blood of goats and calves but  by means of his own blood,  thus securing an eternal redemption." (Hebrews 9:12 ESV) REALITY-For real? Yes, for real life, for all of eternity and beyond He has made the impossible a true REALITY! "For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. (Colossians 2:17 NLT) TRANSFORMED-In order for a true transformation to take place,in our lives, we've got to be willing to make a change...that means we've got to leave the place that we're at, to go to the place where He's at, so that, He can be at our place...our hearts, minds and bodies! ie. The Samaritan woman at the well!(John 4:7) and The woman with the issue of blood!(Matthew 9:22) "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."(Romans 12:2 NIV) APPROVED-We should never seek the approval or applause of man, for it is only the approval of The Lord we should seek, looking forward to the time when we hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into all I have prepared for you!"  "but just as we have been approved by God  to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not  to please man, but to please God  who tests our hearts."(1 Thessalonians 2:4 ESV) LIFE-God has provided and made available to us everything that we need in this life, in order to flourish and live a Godly life. "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him  who called us to  his own glory and excellence." (2 Peter 1:3 ESV) Remember, God sees from the end of time all the way back to the beginning. He, is actually outside of TIME! He created TIME to help us utilize it for our own benefit, His glory and to accomplish His ultimate purpose! (Isaiah 46:10) Here are two more examples from scripture that illustrate God's perspective of TIME. "A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night." (Psalm 90:4 NIV) "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." (2 Peter 3:8 NIV) TIME-PORTAL: The Portal we, as believers, should be entering into each and everyday of our lives, with much gusto!  Try Investing More Effort...b/c...People Only Respond To Authentic Love!  Let us choose to not hold anything back, in reserve, from The Lord and others.  Let's give our all on all occasions, situations and every opportunity that comes our way!
