The state, fact, or relation of being a son. -the relationship of son to father.    -the state of being a son, or bearing the relation of a son; filiation.  SONSHIP-The Revelation, Confirmation and Understanding comes from Father God through His Son and by His Spirit! (Rom.8:15-10:10, adapted from MSG version) SONSHIP-as a son, we are neither a servant nor a slave, but a full fledged son, with all rights and privileges granted on the basis of our SONSHIP! We won't be fired, because of not measuring up to the standards of an employer, nor will we be traded or sold off, because we have displeased our master. When, not if, we mess up, we are able to approach The Father with full assurance and confidence, that although we may be disciplined, for our own good, and because He truly loves us, we will always be His precious loved child! Through this revelation, confirmation and understanding, we are given a brand new lease on life!  We are raised to new life! No longer a halting or hesitating existence, nor are we relegated to just playing out the string, waiting for the inevitable to occur...death! But, we look with an exciting expectation, being giddy with anticipation, for our next great assignment from our loving and caring Father...Papa God. The revelation, confirmation and understanding of who we really are, comes when The Spirit of God enters into our spirit with His light and love; thus, bringing us to the realization of knowing who He really is, Our Father and knowing who we really are, His precious children. Then, we also come to understand that, we are going to receive an incredibly, unbelievable inheritance gift!  This, of course, if we are willing to experience and endure exactly what Christ experienced and went through; that is, taking and receiving with joy, both the good times and the bad (hard) times! Because, nothing can even come close or begin to compare with the good times that are coming our way; no matter how difficult or hard our present times may be. Therefore; we, with all of creation, anxiously await, with baited breath, what's coming next! We are able to clearly see the originally intended shape for our lives. He, God, personally gives us a new name and identity and then calls us by our new name. We ultimately are bent into our intended shape, not out of shape! We definitely count, in God's eyes, but He doesn't count us, He calls us by name, because arithmetic is not His focus!  God has provided us with a legacy of living children! He says...if you are looking for Me, you'll find Me on "The Way", but, if you are not looking for Me, you'll find Me in the way!  You'll never find "The Way" as long as you are going "your way", you'll just constantly be perpetually lost in "your way"! We must continue trusting God to shape the right living in us! We, on our own, can not do anything right! But, as we call out to God for help and trust Him to do that which only He can do, He will accomplish and complete His will and purpose for our lives, in us, even our eternal salvation!  It is God and God alone who can and will set everything right between us and Him! He gives us a new name, calls us by name and claims us as His own dear children; therefore, we enter into His SONSHIP... SONSHIP- Solving Our Need, Sharing His Invaluable Provision! SOLVING, by sending His servant to save The Sovereign's sinful creation!   I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s. (1 John 2:1, 2 MSG) OUR sin is covered by the offering up on the altar of the perfect sacrifice, His Son!   "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. (John 3:16-18 MSG) NEED is met by a loving, gracious and necessary Savior, Jesus! We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3:22, 23 NLT) SHARING, through the shedding of blood, His salvation for all! For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, (Romans 3:25 NLT) HIS help comes to us, because of His great love, mercy and grace! But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4, 5 NLT) INVALUABLE  gift is given to all mankind! The great gift that God has for us does not depend on the law. If it did, it would no longer depend on a promise. But God gave it to Abraham as a free gift through a promise. (Galatians 3:18 NIRV) PROVISION is promised, a perfect plan is implemented, His purpose fulfilled! For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. (Galatians 3:26-29 NLT)
