(2 Timothy 4:7 NIV) THE CITIZENSHIP - The SHIP that carries us to our eternal home...Heaven! Phil.3:20 declares it is in heaven,Phil.3:12 encourages us to take hold of it. Here's a list of some of our Rights, Privileges and Duties.  But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:20 ESV) Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. (Philippians 3:12 ESV) RIGHTS; to gain entrance into heaven and the place of His presence, to health, prosperity, wisdom, counsel, guidance, an abundance of joy,peace, provision of our daily bread, strength sufficient for the day, His power, and an abundant fully loaded life here and in heaven. Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. (3 John 1:2 NLT) And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 ESV) PRIVILEGES; fellowship of the Spirit, and to share in His sufferings, even for doing good, at times; to experience His favor, endure hardships, learning to be content, approaching His throne of grace and mercy, knowing Him personally, having an intimate relationship with Him.  To give and share and to live and breathe in His presence each and every moment of every day! for "'In him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, "'For we are indeed his offspring.' (Acts 17:28 ESV) DUTIES; to act justly, love mercy, walk humbly, share the gospel and love of God, give your all out effort, holding nothing back. To be light and salt, a witness to a lost and dying world, to help the poor, to exhibit the "B" attitudes(Matt.5), to worship and give honor where honor is due, "Ascribe to The Lord the glory due His Name." Shout, declare, make known His Name. Believe, have faith and to act accordingly upon that faith. Be thankful for all things and in every circumstance, for this is God's will for our lives, and finally, make sure that we are obedient to His everlasting Word...all of it! He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8 NIV) "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, (Luke 4:18 ESV) "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
